The Brief for this project is to upgrade the existing two storey farmhouse but to also connect that building to an adjacent stone farm building 15m away and accommodate larger living spaces, new bedrooms and services areas.

The style of the existing buildings has been contrasted with the modern connecting element but the original buildings remain a prominent element by keeping the new extension to a single storey scale.
