This site is very prominent and slopes from a high to the south, down to the main road to the north. Following my initial site visit it was evident that there was a sight plateau half way up the field and through the design process I decided to sit the house on this plateau and continue the falling site up onto the roof of the house in order to conceal the mass of the house and integrate it into the landscape.
