Located within 20 meters of a number of metal sheeted farm buildings, this old farm cottage required an upgrade and new living spaces. I proposed to clad the new extension in a similar metal cladding to those farm sheds so it would fit well into its setting, but with fine detailing and some colour to lift it and differentiate it as being a domestic use.
